Skin Renewal & Firming
How it works
The needles create controlled micro-injuries that the skin responds to by repairing, while radiofrequency warms the tissue around each point. Both are studied for their effect on the skin’s own collagen production, which is why the combination is used for texture, scarring and firmness concerns rather than as a surface treatment.
Who it's for
- Working on textural concerns or scarring rather than surface dullness
- Wanting the skin’s own repair response stimulated rather than covered over
- Able to follow aftercare and return for review as the plan progresses
What to expect
Numbing cream is applied first, and most people describe pressure and warmth rather than sharpness. The skin is usually flushed and warm afterwards; aftercare is explained before you leave and a review is arranged.
Not suitable during pregnancy, over active acne, infection, cold sores or inflamed skin in the treatment area, with a history of keloid scarring, or if you have a pacemaker or another electronic implant.
Suitability is decided at consultation after your skin and medical history are reviewed, and we will tell you if it is not right for you.
RF Microneedling is one part of a plan, never the whole of it. These are the concerns it is combined into at IZEL; which of them applies to you, and what sits alongside it, is decided at your assessment.
